DEATH OF A CAR SALESMAN

Death of a Car Salesman is a debut novel by Collin Brantemeyer. Part whodunnit murder mystery, part critique of the autonomous future of cars, this page-turner is a fun mess of family and money. Collin runs the publishing company, so I was able to work directly with him to establish the look and feel for his book.

The main character (the murder victim) was an eccentric and wealthy car salesman, the type of man who might have commissioned a painted portrait of himself. Throughout the course of the book, each character is realizing they don’t quite know who this man was or what he wanted in life or death. With the fear of autonomous cars looming nearer, car sales have began to plummet, pretty soon the roads and car lots will be covered in the same white, autonomous, Tesla-like robots.

In addition to the book cover design, I created a series of ads to market the new release.
